Spread butter on 4 slices of bread. Lightly sprinkle each slice with a pinch of garlic salt. These are the OUTSIDE pieces of your sandwich.
Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, in a pan over low-medium heat.
As the slices of bread begin to grill, add 2 tbsp pesto to each slice of bread in the pan.
Then, add 1 slice of cheese to each slice of bread in the pan.
Divide the turkey meat in half. Add one half of the turkey meat to each sandwich in the pan.
Add two slices of tomato to each sandwich in the pan.
Take the remaining 2 slices of bread, and on the non-buttered side, spread 2 tbsp pesto to each slice. Add a slice of bread to each sandwich in the pan, pesto side down. The buttered side will be facing up.
Now that each sandwich is complete, flip both sandwiches over in the pan. Continue grilling over low-med heat for 2-3 minutes, or until the outside of the sandwich is a golden brown color.
Remove from heat, and enjoy.
